BOZAR and the Belgian National Orchestra are launching this year's Christmas period with Mozart's most famous opera, The Magic Flute, a heart-warming school performance about regaining a bird's freedom. A mime artist will guide young and old throughout the concert, while video imagery will ensure a true visual spectacle! Together, they will perform the arias of the bird catcher Papageno, his sweetheart Papagena and the terrifying Queen of the Night – all characters from Mozart's most famous opera. However, you can expect a completely new storyline that will turn all your knowledge of these operas on its head!
